UPlay Product Key Activation Problem, Anyone Else Having This Issue?

So to make the steps easier to read and see if anyone else is having this issue so I know its not an isolated problem Ill just outline it:

My Cousin bought pc game the crew from uplay or i think from. [PC]CD Key/Crack/Activation. Got the cd key or crack or activation code?can anyone give.

1. Order game on Steam

2. Install

3. Use key to activate on uplay

4. Click Play to play the game

5. Popup telling me to input key to activate game

6. Put key in again

7. Uplay tells me CD Key is already active on my account and to access the game through my library

8. Go back to library, click play
